A sighting captured in the nineties
Across the urban sky
Bright as starlight at dusk
Darting from left to right
Was here now
Then disappeared
Reappeared at a distance
Tiny speck hovering and
Scanning beneath the infinity
Peering down at
Human order and chaos
Was it a magical performance
Of a clear sky deluding
Our gullible minds or
Was it in fact a UFO —
Totally unidentified,
Actually flying,
Uncertain if it’s an object
